Map out the zones, temporary barriers, approved access routes and who's coordinating the site.
Talk through plans with occupants, other trades and any limits on daily business before work starts.
Write down each zone's system, when it was applied and the actual site conditions that day.
Use the product's own instructions to set when each zone can take foot traffic, furniture, carts, vehicles, cleaning and chemicals.
Decide who signs off on reopening and how everyone hears about changes.
At handover, write down unfinished work, care instructions and any limits still in place.
Don't use one standard wait time to reopen every system.
