Sample approval form
When the final look is uncertain, check a real sample on your slab before the work goes further.

[ ] Mark the sample area and note what slab condition it shows.

[ ] Note the prep, products, color and finish. Keep the technical documents that go with them.

[ ] Wait to judge the sample until the system reaches the point its instructions call for.

[ ] Note the lighting, any patches you can see and how much color and texture variation is OK.

[ ] Attach dated photos of the sample. Photos alone can't set an exact color.

[ ] Mark it approved, approved with notes, or needs changes. Write down the decision before the work goes wider.
