## Staining and sealing during a remodel

 In the finished room, you can see the natural color shifts in the brown floor and light bouncing off the sealed surface. The same stained concrete carries straight on into the dining area.

## Planning a similar project?

 On a remodel, don't pick a color until the old flooring is up. Stain won't hide cracks, patches or old glue marks. A sample on the bare slab gives you a good idea of how those spots, the color and the shine will look.
