# Your record of samples on the slab

 Print this sheet and fill it out with your installer for each sample on your slab. Keep your photos and product info with your quote (one folder for all of it works fine).

 How the slab was prepped 

 Stain or color product 

 Protective finish and sheen 

 How the product goes on 

 Lighting and whether the floor gets wet 

 Color changes and repairs you can see 

 Care notes and when you can use the floor again 

 Take a photo of each sample in the same light, note where the sample is and write down the actual products used. Check each sample in daylight and again under your evening lights before you sign off. A photo keeps a record of each sample, but it can't show you the exact color of the finished floor.
